How long have you been in practice?
 
Tom and Judy have been in practice for over 35 years.
 
 
What is your philosophy?
 
Tom and Judy believe that individuals and families can make meaningful changes in their lives when they have compassionate support, good information, healthy attitudes and interpersonal skills. They provide their clients with the things they need to resolve their issues and make healthy choices.
 
 
What are your credentials?
 
Tom has a Master of Theology degree and is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. Judy has a Master of Arts degree in Counseling and Psychotherapy.
 
 
What are your hours of operation?

How much does it cost. What are your fees?
 
Tom and Judy will be happy to discuss fees with you over the phone. Please call (763)-545-7676.
 
 
Will my medical insurance cover your services?
 
Although some insurance plans cover their work, Tom and Judy are not part of any HMO, PPO or other provider network. Many plans have out of network provisions that cover a portion of the cost. Tom and Judy will be glad to discuss insurance issues with you.
 
 
If I want to make an appointment will I have to wait several weeks to get in?
 
In most cases you will be able to schedule an appointment within a week.
 
 
Is your office handicap accessible?
 
Yes. Our office is on the ground floor and bathrooms are handicap accessible.
 
 
How long are your counseling sessions and how often do you meet with clients?
 
Counseling sessions are typically one hour in length.  Longer sessions may be scheduled based on the need of a situation. In the beginning it is recommended that sessions be made on a weekly basis if at all possible.
 
 
How many sessions are required to solve marriage or family problems?
 
This is one of the most frequently asked questions.  The number of sessions required to solve marriage or family problems is dependent on many variables.  Tom and Judy will discuss the variables with you and will work with you to find solutions.
